Vote for 'more accountable' credit rating agencies
A vote to make credit rating agencies fairer and more accountable is to take place in the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
The role of commercial agencies, such as Moody's and Fitch, is to assess if companies and sovereign states are likely to repay their debts on time.
