Private equity firm KKR invests in Vietnam
Vietnam has received its biggest-ever private equity investment.
The US firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) is putting $200m (£125m) into the consumer food unit of Vietnamese conglomerate Masan Group.
Masan makes a wide range products popular with Vietnamese consumers, from fish sauce to instant noodles and coffee.
As Leisha Chi reports, Vietnam's emerging middle class is buying much more of such goods, making the country an attractive investment attraction.
