NFU president Peter Kendall on the impact of bad weather

The increasing frequency of global extreme weather events and volatility in food price markets present serious challenges for food producers, the president of the National Farmers Union has warned.

Speaking to BBC, Peter Kendall said that consumers could expect the cost of food to rise in the coming years and called on the government to do more to support farmers.
