Boxing Day sales: Bargain hunters queue at Selfridges
Large numbers of bargain-hunters have been descending on High Streets and shopping centres across the UK.
Shops began cutting prices and opening as early as 6am in a bid to tempt customers in.
Retail analysts are expecting almost £3billion to be spent in a single day.
Thousands of bargain hunters poured through the doors of London's Selfridges store when it opened.
