China and the US set for trade talks
China and the US are the world's two biggest economies but they don't always see eye to eye.
However, when they start trade talks in Washington DC on Tuesday they will have plenty to talk about.
This includes an investigation by US regulators into accounting standards used for Chinese firms listed in the US.
Also likely to be on the agenda are trade barriers facing US agricultural imports and foreign investment into China.
Shaun Rein of China Market Research in Shanghai told the BBC that China's currency policy is also likely to be a "big issue".
