US optimistic about trade with China
Trade relations between the US and China, two of the world's biggest economies, have been put to test in recent times.
The two sides have been involved in various disputes on issues ranging from China's currency policies to state subsidies for firms.
As China's new set of leaders get ready to take charge, there is plenty of interest in how the relations between the two countries will shape up in the coming years.
Robert Hormats, the US under secretary of State, who recently wrapped up a week-long trip to the mainland, told Jennifer Pak in Hong Kong that he is optimistic about working with China's new communist party chief, Xi Jinping.
