Qatar's capital Doha is playing host to the latest round of UN climate talks - the first time that a government in the region has hosted such high-profile talks.

More than 17,000 participants from all over the world are expected have gathered in the Gulf state. But the conference is being held in country that has one of the biggest carbon footprints per capita in the world.
