Hurricane Sandy boosts car sales in the US
In the US, the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy has pushed up demand for new cars as those affected head to showrooms to replace their flooded cars.
November's sales figures should reflect this when they come out later this Monday.
It is providing a welcome boost to the recovering US car industry.
