Innovation on the rise in Asia, says Rolls-Royce executive

Much of Asia is seen as the workshop of the world, but not where new ideas are generated.

But some say that could be changing.

Companies are now starting to look for innovation in this region that will appeal to the huge number of potential consumers here and elsewhere.

Saira Syed spoke to Paul Stein, chief scientific officer at Rolls-Royce, a firm that opened a major manufacturing centre in Singapore this year.
