Flood insurance fund 'a viable solution' says ABI
The Association of British Insurers has said thousands of people living in flood risk areas may be unable to get insurance next year, because the government has refused to provide funding to make premiums affordable.
Aidan Kerr from the Association of British Insurers told BBC Breakfast that a flood insurance fund was viable solution.
The Chair of the Flood Protection Association, which represents flood victims, Mary Dhonau, said the floods have had a devastating effect on local communities.
