Household energy bills will rise to fund cleaner fuel
Gas and electricity bills are likely to rise in the coming years, after the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats reached a deal on energy policy.
The government's long-awaited Energy Bill will allow energy companies to charge customers more to create a new, greener, energy infrastructure.
However ministers say it will mean lower bills in the longer term.
