Afghanistan seeks more investment from India
The president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, has promised to roll out the red carpet for Indian industry, in an effort to attract more investment from the country.
Last week, the Afghan leader spent four days visiting India, meeting the prime minister, Manmohan Singh, as well as business executives.
India has already committed $2bn (£1.2bn) to fund the building of infrastructure in Afghanistan.
