Unemployment continuing to fall

The Governor of the Bank of England has warned the UK is likely to be squeezed by inflation for longer than expected and the recovery could be sluggish for at least the next three years.

There has been another fall in the number of people out of work, unemployment across the UK is now down to just over 2.5m, that is despite increases in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
