Spain, Greece and Italy hold anti-austerity protests

Protests are taking place on Wednesday across the EU over rising unemployment and austerity measures being imposed by governments.

Workers' parties in countries including Spain, Greece and Italy blame bankers for the financial crisis and will call on leaders to address growing social anxiety and abandon austerity measures.
