Sanctions against Iran hit purchases of Sri Lanka tea

International sanctions against Iran over its nuclear programme are having an impact on tea producers in Sri Lanka.

Iran is the second biggest buyer of Sri Lankan tea and now commodity brokers in the island nation say the sanctions are causing reduced purchases of their product.
