Samsung's growth set to continue
Samsung has been in the news recently over its continued to courtroom battle with Apple in the smartphone market.
Teck Zhung Wong, analyst at market intelligence firm IDC, says this has overshadowed the fact that Samsung's smartphone business is booming.
He tells the BBC that there is no need to be unduly worried about Samsung's fight with Apple. Whereas Apple basically has one phone model, Samsung has a diverse range to appeal to consumers, he explains.
Furthermore, he says, Samsung smartphones are cheaper, which is appealing to the emerging markets of Asia, where the cost of Apple's iPhone 5, for example, puts it out of reach of many consumers.
