Energy minister says he is 'taking action' on gas prices
Britain's biggest energy supplier British Gas has announced it will increase gas and electricity charges by 6%.
The price hike will add £80 a year to the average dual fuel bill from the middle of next month.
The energy minister, Greg Barker, says the Government is taking action to help households.
