New European Single Sky could 'triple capacity'
A proposal to streamline airspace over Europe is being considered in a move which the EU believes could cut costs and reduce delays for passengers.
Aircraft travelling over Europe are currently controlled by 27 national systems but the European Commission is stepping up efforts to simplify air traffic control.
