Mehta and Wheeler on global businesses
The highs and lows of business are repeated across the world, no matter what the business.
Nick Wheeler founded the quintessentially British tailored shirt company Charles Tyrwhitt and Yogesh Mehta set up Petrochem, the largest chemical trading company in the Middle East.
When the pair met to share their business experiences they found they had more in common than they had expected.
Mr Mehta probed Mr Wheeler to find out why a mail-order retail business might need to have actual shops in different cities, while Mr Wheeler quizzed Mr Mehta on the challenges of delegation and establishing bases across the world.
