UK house sales due to rise, says Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
UK house sales are apparently set to rise, according to a survey by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
After a flat month in September, many surveyors are optimistic that the run up to Christmas may see an increase in activity in many areas of the country.
Those predictions seem to echo the views of a number of lenders that the Bank of England's new Funding for Lending scheme could also support the market.
Peter Bolton King, from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, said there was a general feeling that people were looking to move house.
