Growth in small UK shops slowing

Small independent shops make up more than half of the businesses found on the British high street, but the rate at which they are opening appears to be slowing down.

Meanwhile half of all small independent businesses close within their second year.

Jenny Hill visited the Tea Hive in Chorlton to find out about the challenges faced by small independent businesses.
