Clara Gaymard is chief executive of the French arm of US company General Electric.

She says having a big family makes you humble and says everything you learn at home can help you in the office.

Clara says recognition is also very important - the best employees are the happiest ones - and you should use your staff for their personal talent as well as their professional expertise.
