Mercedes 'optimistic' over sales growth
Despite a contracting car market in Europe, Mercedes increased sales on the continent and are confident of continuing growth according to the parent company's chief executive.
Daimler's Dieter Zetsche told BBC News that apart from established markets, emerging economies would also offer opportunities for growth and premium brands were well placed to weather the global economic storms.
