Foreign investment 'key for Burma'
Foreign investment is key to creating a market economy in Burma, U Shwe Mann, Speaker of the Burmese Parliament, tells the BBC.
But Parliament must ensure it balances the interests of the country's people with those of foreign investors, he says.
This, he suggests, is one reason for the delay in passing the foreign investment law in Burma.
