Energy customers get switch rights under Ofgem plans


Householders are to be given rights to compensation from gas and electricity companies, if they get their bills wrong or mis-sell products.

At present, the companies pay compensation to the Treasury not to customers.

Mark Wiltshire, from the industry regulator Ofgem, told the BBC the reforms will stop misleading doorstep selling.
