Dark pools: Private share trading targets Asia


They're called dark pools - trades of big blocks of shares that happen privately, without the seller or the buyer flagging their intentions to the broader market and potentially affecting prices before a deal is struck.

One of the biggest facilitators of dark pool trading is Liquidnet.

Asia Business Report's Rico Hizon spoke to Seth Merrin, CEO and founder of Liquidnet and asked him about regional demand for the trading system.
