Jennings and Piramal on turning problems into opportunities
Their two companies could not be more different: Ajay Piramal heads a multi-billion dollar Indian conglomerate with an international reputation as a supplier of pharmaceuticals; Dare Jennings is an Aussie biker with a knack for creating cult clothing and lifestyle brands.
They both spend a great deal of time travelling the world and managed to meet up as they passed through London, UK.
Mr Piramal explains how his Hindu faith profoundly shapes his approach to commerce and reveals how a double family tragedy initially propelled him into the role of business leader.
Mr Jennings was keen to escape rural Australia but did not initially have a clear business plan. He shares his thoughts on how to attract interest from business associates and also why he thinks it a good idea to keep customers on their toes.
