The chancellor has revealed he is planning a series of measures to kickstart construction and economic growth.

The Chancellor George Osborne said he will bring in new laws to reform the planning system and has promised to underwrite major infrastructure projects.

5 liveWake Up To Money asked Julia Evans, chief executive of the National Federation of Builders, if she was encouraged by the £40bn green light for construction projects.
