Reviving Oman's maritime industry
Oman has a long maritime history, and a reputation as one of the foremost producers of traditional wooden dhows.
But very little boat making now goes on in the country's former shipyard capital, Sur.
But plans are afoot to rekindle Oman's maritime heritage in the form of a not-for-profit company which promotes sailing and its benefits.
