How do you sell your house in today's financial climate?
There was a drop in the number of homes sold in July, according to HM Revenue and Customs figures.
Completed sales for last month stand at 81,000, compared to 86,000 in June or 150,000 at this time five years ago.
5 live's Tony Livesey and Edwin Mitson asked estate agent David Simms how he would advise people putting their homes on the market.
