Richest 5% gain most from BofE quantitative easing policy

The Bank of England's key policy of quantitative easing is under scrutiny.

It follows a report from the bank itself which shows that the richest 5% in the country have gained most from the £350bn that have been pumped into the economy so far.

But as the BBC's chief economics correspondent Hugh Pym reports, the bank insists that most people in Britain are better off as a result of its policy.
