Labour insist upon 'homes for all'
Labour has criticised a government commissioned report into housing for not safe-guarding properties for lower-income households in developments.
Shadow housing minister Jack Dromey told BBC news that he wanted to see more building of new houses, but they must be "homes for all".
The report by Sir Adrian Montague suggested involving institutional investors in a large scale building of private housing for rent.
He says a combination of recent tax changes and wider market conditions could help the sector to grow.
