Holidaymakers and a group of MPs back the air duty row

A group of MPs is urging the government to review air passenger duty, after around 100,000 people wrote letters complaining it is too high.

Campaigners, led by airlines, airports and tour operators, say the tax is damaging the wider economy but it raised £2.2bn for the Treasury in the last financial year.
