Virgin domestic flights compete with BA
Virgin Atlantic has announced that it is going to start a new service flying between Manchester and Heathrow three times a day.
Chief executive of Virgin Atlantic Steve Ridgway said that the new route would provide competition in the domestic market and would "keep Manchester and the north west connected with the rest of the world".
