How financially literate is India?
India's government recently proposed a national policy for financial education.
It suggests including fundamentals of finance in school curricula, and also looks at involving banking institutions and regulators in spreading financial awareness.
So how informed are people in India when it comes to making basic decisions on savings and investments?
