Help

News Corporation has posted a sharp quarterly net loss of $1.6bn (£1bn) compared with a net income of $683m last year.

Rupert Murdoch's company's profits have been hit by restructuring costs, which are reported to be nearly $3bn.

The publishing income was also down, reflecting the hit from the closure of the News of the World.
