US jobs figures affected by under-employment
Despite an estimated 10,000 jobs being created in the US during July, unemployment rates are expected to remain unchanged when the latest jobs report is released on Friday.
The problem is not just those without jobs, but the growing number of people who can find only part-time work.
They are being forced to cut back on spending, and that is affecting growth.
