Heineken deadline for Tiger nears
The fate of one of Asia's fastest-growing brewers could be decided later, as the deadline approaches for Heineken's $4.1bn (£2.6bn) bid to buy out Fraser and Neave's stake in Asia Pacific Breweries (APB), the maker of Tiger Beer.
The stake includes 30 breweries in 14 countries.
Kelvin Chan from Euromonitor International says Heineken will have to increase its price to entice shareholders.
