Singapore Airlines expected to land weak profit numbers
Singapore Airlines will be posting its quarterly results later on Wednesday.
Analysts are not expecting a glowing set of numbers. As with its peers, volatile oil prices and weakening consumer demand are weighing heavily on the airline.
As a result, the investment bank Citi has reduced its target price on the carriers shares.
Siva Govindasamy from Flightglobal told the BBC's Asia Business Report that Singapore Airlines is facing the same problems as the rest of the global carriers.
