Osborne: Loans come with conditions
The Bank of England is offering High Street banks up to £80bn of loans - provided they loan the money on to businesses and home-buyers.
The scheme is designed to make more loans and mortgages available to businesses and individuals.
Speaking at a crane makers in Derbyshire the Chancellor George Osborne said the loans come with strict conditions.
