Asian planemakers seek to expand
Orders for new aircraft at this weeks Farnborough Air Show in the UK were - as usual - dominated by Boeing and Airbus.
But Asian planemaker Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation won a 100-aircraft order at Farnborough, and other manufacturers from Asia secured deals in recent months.
Despite their successes, Shashank Nigam, chief executive of SimpliFlying, says such manufacturers still have many hurdles ahead of them.
