Climate rife for more trade spats as economy worsens


As the global economic downturn worsens, nations often look to protect their own markets and businesses rather than acting in the interests of free trade.

This could lead to rising trade disputes similar to those we are already seeing between China and the US as well as the European Union says Jia Xiu Dong from the China Institute of International Studies in Beijing.
