Australia trade deficit expected to shrink further

As Australia's commodities exports continue to boom, its official trade deficit is expected to shrink future, reports the BBC's Duncan Kennedy.

With exports of iron ore increasing, our correspondent says it is no wonder that the country's Finance Minister Wayne Swan sounds so cheerful.

Yet at the same time, the Australian dollar has recently risen above the US greenback, a situation that will not please many exporters.
