Sir Mervyn King calls for 'real change' in banking sector
The Governor of the Bank of England, Sir Mervyn King, has demanded immediate and far-reaching action to reform the structure and culture of the UK banking industry.
His call followed an announcement by the Financial Services Authority, which said banks had mis-sold specialist insurance to thousands of small businesses.
