Can we still trust our banks?
Banks have come under renewed scrutiny in recent days, with Natwest and RBS customers being locked out of their accounts and Barclays fined for rigging the key lending rate between banks.
Meanwhile, the Financial Services Authority has said banks mis-sold specialist insurance known as interest rate swaps tied to thousands of small businesses.
BBC Breakfast spoke to members of the public to find out if they still trust their banks and to get their views on big bonuses paid to some bank bosses.
