Asian economies weigh up EU growth package

European Union (EU) leaders have agreed in principle on a growth package for the eurozone worth 120bn euros ($149bn; £96bn), EU chief Herman van Rompuy has announced.

But what will Asian economies make of the package, given that in the run-up to the EU summit markets had been concerned that the region's leaders may not agree on a concrete plan to solve the debt crisis?

Connie Bolland from Economic Research Analysis spoke to the BBC's Sharanjit Leyl.
