The head of Nissan, Carlos Ghosn, is Japan's best paid boss.

Mr Ghosn was paid 987m Yen ($12.4m; £8m)) for the past financial year, once again making him the country's highest paid corporate boss.

But his salary is still less than half that of rival Ford's chief executive, Alan Mulally.

The BBC's Mariko Oi explains how Mr Ghosn became Japan's highest paid executive.
