'I can't pay my staff', says NatWest customer
The underlying technical issue which has been disrupting payments at NatWest and Ulster Bank has been resolved according to a bank source.
However, inconvenience to customers is likely to continue through the day as staff try to get the system back on its feet.
The bank has a backlog to clear but it hopes everything will be back to normal by Monday.
Vip Measuria is a local shop owner in Borrowash in Derby who is a NatWest customer.
He told the BBC he cannot pay his staff.
