Economic growth sees rise in Asian defence spending

Aerospace and defence companies are well-placed to cash in on the growing defence spending by countries in Asia.

The region's economic growth has provided many governments with extra money to spend on defence, and there's no shortage of sellers.

Over the weekend, Singapore hosted the Shangri-La Dialogue, a meeting of defence and security policymakers and experts from around the world.

The BBC's Ashleigh Ngheim spoke to the president and chief executive officer of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, Dennis Muilenburg, and asked him about Asia's growth.
