Michael Morley is chief executive of private bank Coutts. He says making executive decisions within a large organisation can be a frustating experience as often too many people are involved, generating too much information, which can complicate the process.

His company has taken the approach to get together the most senior decision makers so they can discuss - without Power Point presentations - to define the key issues and give clearer direction to the task at hand. He says it is a good approach which can save time.
